Sheila Anderson

Residential Supervisor

Sheila first came to Riverbrook as a volunteer in 2003 and joined the staff a year later. She’s been a weekend supervisor and, most recently, our Residential Supervisor. As Sheila will tell you, she loves her job and being with the residents. “They make you see the world from a different view. Not only do I take care of them but, in a way, they take care of me. The memories we have made together, the laughs we have shared, the sharing of new babies in our families, our shared adventures … it’s an amazing job.” Sheila enjoys helping the women become more independent and experience new things like a book club, or a dance party. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, art, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
